Follow the steps below to install Cuntas MiTool in Microsoft Word. It takes just a few minutes.
First, download this small file. It tells Word where to find the Cuntas MiTool add-in.
Download manifest.xmlFor Word on Windows desktop.
Open any Word document. Click Home in the ribbon, then click Add-ins (or Get Add-ins).
In the Add-ins dialog, click Upload My Add-in (top-right corner). Browse to the manifest.xml file you downloaded and click Upload.
The Cuntas MiTool button appears on the Home tab. Click it to open the panel and sign in with your Microsoft account.
For Word on Mac desktop.
Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G and paste this path:
~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Documents/wef
If the wef folder doesn't exist, create it.
Copy the downloaded manifest.xml into the wef folder.
Open (or restart) Word. Click Home → Add-ins and select Cuntas MiTool.
For Word in your browser at office.com.
Go to office.com and open any Word document.
Click Home → Add-ins → More Add-ins → Upload My Add-in. Select the manifest.xml file and click Upload.
The Cuntas MiTool panel opens automatically. Sign in with your Microsoft account to begin.
Deploy Cuntas MiTool to all teachers in your school via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Go to Settings → Integrated Apps → Upload custom app, and provide the manifest URL. The add-in will appear automatically in teachers' Word ribbon.
