Terms of Service

1. The service

Cuntas MiTool is a Microsoft Word Add-in that provides access to Irish Primary School Curriculum content (learning outcomes, skills, and concepts) and allows teachers to insert this content into Word documents. The service is provided by [Your Name / Business Name], based in Ireland.

2. Account registration

To use Cuntas MiTool, you must sign in with a Microsoft account. By signing in, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Microsoft account credentials.

3. Free trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial expires, a paid subscription is required to continue inserting curriculum content into documents.

4. Subscription and payment

• The subscription costs €20 per year, billed annually
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe
• Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel
• You can manage your subscription and payment method through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from Account Settings in the add-in

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made
• After your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to insert curriculum content

6. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with Cuntas MiTool, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by emailing contact@cuntasmitool.ie. Refunds for renewals are considered on a case-by-case basis.

7. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time through Account Settings in the add-in. Account deletion will:

• Cancel any active subscription
• Remove your data from our database
• Delete your Stripe customer record

This action is irreversible.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Cuntas MiTool only for its intended purpose: planning lessons and creating educational documents. You may not:

• Attempt to access the service in an unauthorised manner
• Redistribute or resell curriculum content obtained through the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service

9. Curriculum content

The curriculum content provided through Cuntas MiTool is sourced from the Irish Primary School Curriculum. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that the content is complete, current, or error-free. The curriculum content is provided for planning purposes only.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Cuntas MiTool available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Cuntas MiTool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the add-in. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
